In a constantly evolving world, where information overload coexists with the crisis of traditional media, Abstrakt enters the scene with a clear vision of a future where quality journalism experiences a revival. Our mission is to capture and disseminate the essence of the news with rigor and independence, while using advances in artificial intelligence to enrich, not replace, the essential work of journalists.
Abstrakt positions itself at the intersection of technological innovation and editorial expertise, respecting journalistic know-how. Through an innovative process of collaboration between artificial intelligence and human expertise, we are committed to delivering refined and relevant information, relying on quality sources. We work to create an ecosystem where precious and verified information can thrive, meeting the needs of busy readers while respecting the fundamental contribution of journalists.
By betting on responsible innovation, Abstrakt strives to support the renaissance of journalism by providing a sustainable solution to the sector's current challenges. We firmly believe that AI, far from being a threat, is a lever to value and reinvent the journalism of the future, making information accessible and engaging for everyone. Through this mission, we humbly wish to contribute to redefining the information paradigm and offer industry players the tools necessary to meet today's and tomorrow's challenges.
The origin of Abstrakt dates back a decade, with the creation of Echuo during our studies, a service that already allowed browsing the news in a few minutes. Our ambition was to offer simplified access to information for those who couldn't fully immerse themselves in it.
However, despite honorable growth and a loyal audience, we had to face reality: we lacked the means, time, and experience to transform this project into lasting success. Reluctantly, we had to put an end to it.
Ten years later, the appeal of our original idea, still as promising, remained. Armed with increased resources, dedicated time, and strengthened expertise, particularly in management and artificial intelligence, the time had come to bring our vision back to life. This is how Abstrakt was born, the fulfillment of our aspiration to make access to information as simple and efficient as possible.
We focus our efforts on what has the greatest impact, providing you with carefully selected information to eliminate the superfluous. We work to reduce mental overload, information overload, and wasted time by extracting the essential from the immense flow of content.
We are committed to offering press reviews with articles from diverse political and cultural horizons, guaranteeing objectivity and quality. As a neutral intermediary, we allow users to form their opinions based on diverse perspectives.
We believe in the power of artificial intelligence serving humans. Our technology assists, without replacing, allowing our team to remain the final arbiter of the relevance and quality of the information we transmit to you.
We democratize access to quality information by highlighting the work of journalists. Our goal is to enable everyone to gain a deeper understanding of the world, thus facilitating informed decisions in all aspects of life.
At Abstrakt, our advanced technological system is designed to assist us in writing our press reviews, without ever taking control. By combining modern machine learning techniques, such as clustering, classification, vector databases, and generative AI capabilities, we analyze and sort the approximately 15,000 articles published daily in France.
Our open source models, meticulously tuned by our team, go beyond traditional keyword-based methods, enabling a fine understanding of the context and relevance of the news. Thanks to generative AI, we are also able to reformulate and synthesize key information, to convey the essentials in a concise and clear manner.
Technology ensures precise and targeted initial sorting, but it's the final validation by our team that guarantees a balanced and superior quality press review. This complementarity between cutting-edge technology and human expertise allows us to offer each morning a rigorous and comprehensive news synthesis.
